The only thing one can never escape is their own body. The limitation of physicality can only be transcended when, rumour has it, the two different parts that comprise man are once and for all divided. Until that moment these two different pieces are destined to continue their parallel course, the one getting stronger (ego) while the other (body) slowly disintegrates.
